In an increasingly “green-conscious” world, Jack Johnson and Brushfire Records are taking a pretty decent step towards the rarely-considered ecological impact of concert tourings.

In support of Johnson’s “Sleep Through Static” tour is attempting to be as green as possible. Initiatives include organizing carpools to shows for fans, adding optional “carbon-credit” fees to concert tickets, and making large scale donations from profits to ensure the carbon-neutrality of touring transportation.
