Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

WHAM! George Michael has not toured North America in a staggering 17 years… but all of that will soon be coming to an end. All of this is thanks to the “25 Live” tour.

In support of the “Twenty Five” album — already a SMASHING success in Europe — the pop mega-star will be hitting North America for a concert tour in the Summer of 2008. The album, to be released April 1, features old WHAM! and George Michael favorites and a couple of new tunes. The new songs feature duets with Paul McCartney and Mary J. Blige.

In Europe, the 25 Live tour has already broken ticket sales records in Copenhagen and other stops. Entire stadiums have sold out 50,000+ tickets in a matter of minutes! The North American stops should be no different. As soon as dates are confirmed, get your tickets or you’ll miss out on this pop-master.

George Michael is an iconic performer with millions of records sold, number one records and songs and a brilliant stage presence. “25 Live” will undoubtedly be a concert event that everyone will be talking about.
