Sting is expected to easily take the year end crown, and unlike album sales, concert profits have improved, with a 2.9% increase over the same time period last year.

Celine Dion’s Las Vegas shows raked in $41.8 million via tickets averaging $137.36 each, putting her in fourth place. Another production with both Canadian and Vegas connections, Cirque Du Soleil’s Delirium ($30.0 million and $80.24), ranked eighth.

The other Canadians in the top 50 were Nickelback at #31 ($10.4 million and $45.91) and The Tragically Hip at #47 ($6.7 million and $36.01).
