More about Celine Dion Concert Tour DatesCeline Dion is no stranger to the spotlight. Performing from the early age of five, the Canadian gem from Montreal was destined for greatness.
Celine Dion found international success in 1991 when she signed with Epic U.S. and recorded her first album in English. The soft ballad, "Where Does My Heart Beat Now" featured on her first album gave the world a taste of the little lady's big voice and promised future greatness. The following year, Dion sang a duet with Peabo Bryson on Disney's animated 'Beauty And The Beast.'
Her second album featured a Patti LaBelle cover song, "If You Asked Me To" and reached number four later in 1992. However, it was Jennifer Rush's cover song - "The Power Of Love," that gave Dion her first U.S. number one in 1994. There was no looking back as Celine Dion was on a roll. Her third album - "The Colour of My Love," was one of her most successful reaching number four.
In 1996, Celine Dion found her second number one hit song "Because You Loved Me." However, nothing was to compare to the mega hit Titanic soundtrack -"My Heart Will Go On." The heart wrenching song not only topped charts worldwide, it also helped the Titanic soundtrack become the bestselling album of 1998.
Following her international success, Celine Dion took a step back and returned to her French roots, releasing an entirely French album - S'il Suffisait D'aimer and in 1999, she decided to take some time off to start a family.
After a two-year break, Celine Dion came back to the music scene with her release of "A New Day Has Come." Naturally, the album was a smash hit, topping the charts it became a Number one album.
Since 2003, and the release of her album "One Heart" Celine Dion has taken up residence at the Caesar's Palace Coliseum in Las Vegas where she performs five nights a week. Celine Dion is a performer you will not want to miss out on in Vegas! Find tickets to see this little lady and hear her big voice.
